O QUADRO is a community of filmmakers and video artists in Portugal, dedicated to discovering local talent, connecting creative professionals, and inspiring collaborations.
Purpose
Founded on July 7, 2021 in Lisbon, O QUADRO was created to bring together Portugal’s filmmaking community through curated cultural and professional programming.
To date, O QUADRO has hosted more than 60 showcases, screenings, workshops, lectures, and special events, featuring the work of over 120 Portugal-based film professionals — including (but not limited to) directors, editors, cinematographers, actors, stylists, and other creative practitioners working across film and visual media.
Founder
& Creative Director
Paul S. Tracey, is an actor, filmmaker, and creative director based in Lisbon.
Originally from Reno-Tahoe, he studied in Rome before returning to the U.S. to begin his career in film production in San Francisco. After more than a decade working as a professional actor in Los Angeles, he moved to Lisbon in 2021, where his passion for film and uniting fellow creators culminated in the founding of O QUADRO.
